the "i like clint hill" thread

look, he is doing what he can, dodgy kness, lack of pace and is covering cos yun is out and traore is cack.
clint is quoted as saying he went to fans to suggest they stop swearing in front of kids, that;s all
passions were high and i am not pointing fingers. SOME AT THIS CLUB ARE A DISGRACE, i wonder what the coaches all do and there's many, i question the signings ( cos harry says they are never fit, so why sign em) so thats likely mr beard....
but hill came to us, with derry, and they both became favourites cos of their commitment.
dunne may have been upset but take his frustration out on the oppo and steam into them, don't let them walk thru time and time again ( the same for caulker) both burnley goals from our point of view were shocking.
hill probably should not have been listed this season and maybe given a coaching role, but we loan out robinson and we are down to the bones...

I like Clint Hill but he should not be playing LB at his age - if he would have played in Caulkers place we would not have lost
We have been downhill since Yun got injured - 5 games without a win
Bring back the kid we bought from Liverpool

                  I love hilly.

its not his fault we have no decent left back cover for yun. that also falls at redcrapps door.

I can't recall Clint doing anything really wrong in Saturday's game. His defensive work was solid and his only couple of errors were when he misplaced a pass or cross right up their end. He is what he is.... nobody is claiming he's a flying wing back are they? He's clearly the only cover we've got at LB and I think he's decent when called on. In terms of him being a squad player I think it's handy he can come in at CB when required too.
Referring back to Saturday, Isla made far more errors than Clint did and made more poor passes too.
