Zarate and Austin wouldn't work IMO.. We don't know how to play football without Zamora on the pitch, we have to play Zamora!

    I'd like to see,

    Vargas Fer Barton Zarate
    Zamora Austin

Well done to everyone concerned with getting this deal done, a very exciting player and all done for the first and really important game of the window. Really like the look of this bloke. Also it stops the dozens and dozens of 'why are we so shi te at getting transfers done and harry is useless and on a bung on the last day' threads, and for that i am extremely grateful.

So here is how it works then:-
'Why is everyone making signings and we are not etc.......'
then we make one and it is:-
'Can't get excited till I see him play/he won't be any good/why can't he get in the West Ham team etc....'

          This. Very happy with this.

I read that we are only paying his wages. I understood the question of the loan fee was what held up the transfer.

We have seen what a difference one player can make to a team. Let us hope this is the case here.

Liked the look of him at the start of the season with West Ham. Pretty sure he played against us? Good signing.

Zarate hasn't even played a game for us yet and some of the posters are already being negative about him.

Any team who signs a new players is taken a chance as it does not always work out.

Please do not get on his back if it takes time for him to settle in.

I think he could be a decent signing but my worry is that there has been no thought going into the signing and we have signed him just for the sake of it

If we want someone to replace Hoilett then get a proper winger in

If we want a player to replace Zamora then get a proper target man in

We already have 3 players playing out of position most weeks ( Isla , Fer and Vargas) so why add a 4th to the mix !?

We will once again be relying on individuals to keep us up rather than a proper plan and team ethic

Why do you think no thought went into this signing. He was supposed to sign for us last week, but we held it up for some reason.

Dont mate, please. Lets enjoy this and not suck the farking life out of good news just for once eh. We need a striker badly, very badly. Chaz is injury prone and if his shoulder pops again im sure you and a lot more of us would go mental cos we didnt get any cover. This signing has been majorly thought about, as are they all.

Oh FFS, Zarate brings a new dimension into the team, he is a number 10 through and through, he can set up austin just as much as zamora does while improving our football quality. He will play as a number 10, just behind Austin.

Why do you have a problem to see Isla play right back and Vargas right wing?

Tell me how he is going to fit into a no 10 role with our current formation and style of play ?
