Highly unlikely as I seem to recall that he would need to sign the day before the game.

Don't know. Think you need to submit the paperwork then it goes through next day. Whether you can submit today I don't know.

I don't expect much from him tbh.
Zarate looks like another Vargas - at times good approach play but not enough goals.

He wasn't being selected because 2 goals in 8 games was not better than Sakho, and Valencia Cole and Carroll offered more to the team with other aspects of their game as well as a few goals.

Transfer window doesn't open until the 3rd so no. Burnley will be his first involvement

Papers reporting he'd be available for Swansea. IMHO, believe we need pace to pair with Charlie up front, and Zarate certainly has that. Plus given the West Ham coach's comments, Zarate has an additional boost: something to prove!

As Matty has already pointed out, the transfer window doesn't open until the 3rd, so it doesn't really matter whether he has signed or not.

Actually 5 Starts and 2 sub appearances in the league, one 11 minute cameo in the cup. No full 90 minutes, 2 goals 1 assist.

To be honest twranger, you may joke but it's important because people judge players on stats alone & going by what was just said we know we shouldn't read too much into it as he hasn't had real game time as such
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes
