    Ledesma

saw a kid wearing his shirt on saturday. amazing to think the shirt was probably only a year old but already seems like a bit of nostalgia. must admit he obviously isn't as effective as routledge but i had a soft spot for the lad and hope he does well. last i heard he wasn't doing too well which is a shame for anyone of his natural ability -anyone got any up to date info on him?

ps: while we are at it, what is alberti's story - is he being shipped out on loan, or sold, or what? you never hear anyone even mention him any more.

Was talking about what an Anti Climax last season was earlier today and how much better we are prepared for a push for the Play Offs this time around.

IMO Ledesma would of turnt out to be a cracking player if we gave him time. Always played with a smile.

Ledesma is like Faurlin and will be a decent player
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Playing for Novara Calcio in the Italian equivalent of League One. 4 games, no goals.

Shame, thought he had a lot or promise.

I know what you mean. Its strange though that even our v critical fan base seem to have decided they are going to accept Faulin and that he is going to "work", yet we did an amazing about turn on Ledesma and indeed Parejo - why was that? Yes, neither quite settled into the championship but both cd play. Was there an element in both cases of "he's a Flavio signing, we don't want him"? I don't know for sure, just asking.

Few reasons that I could guess.

              Faurlin's our player, L & P were loans.

Faurlin has shown a willingness to get stuck in that Parejo never had. Ledesma has more tricks, but Routledge is more direct and effective.

For completeness, SDC is at Gallipoli in Serie B. Played 1 full game and 2 sub appearances.

Thanks Newark. I used to defend the other two, particularly Ledesma, but SDC was crap. Almost rather have Agypants - at least he runs about and looks quite busy in a headless chicken sort of way.

Strangely, I think he'd be quite well suited to this year's style of play. But he seems to be on a downward slope by the look of it..

Just saying it how it is.

                            Italian division 3?

                            Point proven.
