I'd go same team except Tarabt for Vine, if in training Tarabt has responded in the right way to Saturday, with Vine moving to the bench. Assuming Connolly and Hall are both still crocked I would otherwise keep the team unchanged, uncomfortable as I am with Calamity Stewart at centre half.

Only question really for me is whether to play Tarabt up front just behind Simpson or whether to play him out left with Buz in the hole. Newcastle away might be precisely the kind of fixture where 4-5-1 cd work quite well.

Yes but he had a good game against Cardiff and the first half against Chelsea. We must show faith in players even if they have a couple of bad games otherwise they will never find consistency.
