Define what you mean by "future"? Are we talking about next month or in 5-10years? Because the youth policy we have been implementing won't come to fruition for possible 6-8 years. I know for a fact we have some excellent kids in our youth teams but they wont make the step up by next month unfortunately. The youngsters we have signed that we have farmed out on loan may or may not come good in the next year or two - but at least we have some potential right, which we didnt have before.

Its important we have a mix of players who can do "ok" to keep us up now and solidify us in the next few years or all our talented youth players will leave anyway.
