And his previous contribution in the 2 league games prior to this was to score the winning goal and set up the equaliser....your point?

Lets make no mistake Barnsley were **** and will get relegated this year, their goalie was a joke.

Taarabt I'd have front with Simpson, the man is an entertainer a maverick if you must and we are very very lucky to have him.

well if it isn't obvious then why bother....yep he has talent....yep is a good player....but even good players have to learn not to be greedy.Lat time i looked football was a team game.....you know 11 players on the pitch playing as a unit......not one fancy dan doing tricks and the other 10 watching.

Are we really that lucky to have him......seems to me the last 2 league games have proven we can play without him.

... and if he's playing in midfield - track back and tackle, a bit.

That's why he can't play there, so the comparison/poll with Hogan is not the right one.

It's Vine who's battling with Taraabt at the moment.

I think our improvement in the last games has more to do with Watson and Rowlands midfield partnership than Taarabts absence.

Lets be fair Taarabts replacement yesterday Vine did nothing and we could have been 3-0 at HT with 10 men.

i agree with the watson/rowlands part........but it was proven at the end when tarrabt didn't pass to buzz that he is greedy.........all i am saying is it's a team game....once the lad learns to pass more and maybe track back a bit then he will improve tenfold

Dont forget Vine is struggling for touch and full fitness, and he had a hard game against chelsea in midweek.........give the guy a break.
                      They seek him here.................

Vines been playing since last April when do we start analysing his contribution without refering to his fitness levels and the need to rediscover his touch again?

isnt vine said that his leg healed shorter than the other ? thats the reason of his actual fitness maybe.. he was good before his leg got broken.

                            Really tough.
                            Different players, for a start.
Prefer Hogan to roam wing to wing behind the front man.
I think Taarabt, when he learns to pass, will be far too good for us!!!
Hogan is ours, and has great promise, but needs the chance to play and develop that talent.
Taarabt is very exciting to watch, but my club loyalty makes me vote for Hogan.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
