There are reports in Italy this morning that AS Roma have joined the race to sign FC Porto defender Rolando. The Portuguese club are trying to offload the player which has alerted a number of clubs across Europe including Queens Park Rangers.

The latter should be a must. Surely we can do an early deal for Vargas. I know we have the option to buy isla but I am not sure it's the same for vargas and I think he will be off to a much bigger club.

Id say Isla contributes massively to Vargas being so good on the the wing. They've got a natural understanding that compliments each others style of play. Reckon these 2 are a must to sign on a permanent.... can see us building a very decent team for now and the future starting with McCarthy, Isla, Varags, Yun and Austin.
