Thing is, when we first signed him I thought he looked neat and tidy - holding the ball up, laying it off and all that. But after several games I noticed he seldom attacked the opposition goal himself, never had a shot himself. It got to stage where he irritated me by perpetually playing with his back to the goal and "passing the buck" when it came to shooting. He then got permanently crocked so I wrote him off.
But, to be fair to him, he's plugged away and got himself fit(ish) again and 'Arry has done well to incorporate him to a system/shape that utilises his strengths. I now have to admit to being a bit previous and basically wrong cos he's doing very well for us and in the top flight too..... I'd never have thought that 12/18 months ago of Bobby.
