Not everyone's cup of tea apparently going by references to Pulis.

That move for the vargas chance didnt look long ball to me. I think its known as 'total football'.

i couldnt give a t*** as long as we win, unfortuntly we havent got the quality to work it from defense into their box with pretty football.

No complaints from me about using the tools at your disposal. However, we are not a long ball team, we just happen to use it as one of various tactics. Like above, nowt long ball about that move leading to the Vargas chance

Not sure we're a long ball team. Either way, I just dislike Pulis as a person.

2nd half against Liverpool, and all last night. Mostly from goal-kicks. And from the defence as well when we broke up play in front of our goal. Can't remember all the games but we used to play it out from the back remember. Obviously not when you break the play up in their half. I expect the same Saturday. A stand out game from last season was the home leg against Wigan, same thing. Probably more so when BZ is on.

Not being funny but I don't know many teams that don't lump a goal kick!!!

very good thread greengrass. much better than all the happy clapping nonsense.

honestly, i could not give a toss how we play as long as we either win or just trying hard.

but tbf, only the first goal was a long punt from dunne.

much of our play has gone through the middle.

Nope. Aim is to stay up, I don't care how we do it. Stoke done it for about 4/5 years and now they're an established prem side.
