Took my boy to his First match on Sunday

As the Thread says, took my 6 year old to his first game on Sunday, Having moved to Cambridgeshire for work this has been the first opportunity for the whole day trip... I'll admit being worried leading up to the match that I could be making a mistake and he could be witness to a complete drubbing (lets be honest few of us would have been surprised), and come away singing "you'll never walk alone".
After the final whistle he turned to me and said "Oh well dad, we played well didn't we? And at least we scored 2 goals, they were very lucky" a mind-set that will serve him perfectly as a QPR fan, taking positives out of disappointment, and realising it's not always about winning. He was singing Rangers songs all the way home in the car due to the atmosphere, passion and effort displayed by the team. If we play like that for the rest of the season we will start to pick up points and at least "have a good go" at staying up. My boy is now officially a QPR fan... and not only because Daddy is (not easy when they're not your local club, and the pressure of the playground) which made it a surprisingly good day all things considered.

Took my 5 yr old twins and cousins( Brentford) to there first game at wembley in May, great day, we won, my Brentford nephew changed to Rangers and my kids where signing Rangers songs all day.

Last week my boy said "dad I will support Rangers until I am 18 they I will change to Chelsea" just out of the blue, all his friends are chelsea in school, it's a long ongoing job keeping them away from the darkside.

Club should get Brian Blessed or Tom Baker to record the above, play the tune to "Jersusalem" with it and broadcast it at full blast before every game.
