I believe Charlie to be a service man, if you give him that then he will score a number of goals in the PL. It's not as if we have been playing great all season but have a 'Balotelli' up front that keeps missing, very pleased for him that he got a brace last night.

However there is more I would like from him, he rarely drops a few yards short of the defender, receives the ball and brings others into play as he is always looking for the ball to be played over the top or in the air. Secondly he is very hesitant to leave the central area and run the wings, this most evident when the full backs have it and look up, you often need one striker to make the run from inside to out so the ball can be played down the wing to them as it's a great out ball. But then how many goals have I scored in the top four divisions ? Exactly 0.

I don't think anyone would argue with that. in fact it is what most of us have been saying all along.

Austin is a goalscorer and will score at most levels including the Premiership, but is is unfair to ask him to play as a lone striker, which is what he was doing a few games ago.
