Leicester City fan here, in peace as ever - my first time back here this season.

Just wondering: was there much talk among fans over the summer that Redknapp should go? Or was everyone just enjoying the afterglow from the Wembley win?

I thought at the time that he'd have done himself and his reputation a lot of favours if he'd left - on a high, after all. I was amazed to read instead about him being offered a new contract, which he was going to sign when he had a minute. Did anything come of that either?

Don't assume. Anyone with half a brain knew he it had gone #### up ages before and had said so on here. A search would have answered your question without the need to gloat.

I'm honestly not gloating: I had a really busy time over the summer and was hardly online at all, so just curious about what was said.

I guessed that the contract talk was spin, but again, I did wonder.

TBH, when I first joined this forum last February or March, it was to argue against all the talk about "Redknapp must go", because I thought that would have been self-defeating at the time. Mind you, I also thought that Wigan would win the playoffs, which goes to show what I know.

I do think it's time he went, though. With well over three-quarters of the season to go, there is plenty of time for someone to come in and sort things out. Pulis/Francis would be interesting: I was amazed at what they did at Palace. The only real issue I can think of is that there appear to be one or two "big-time charlies" at Loftus Road, which was an issue he didn't have at Selhurst Park. But he's got the right kind of credentials.

All this Pullis talk is the blind leading the blind , Pullis was the antichrist of football for 5 years at Stoke , Gerry Francis gave him one good season at Palace so why do we need Pullis Gerry Frances could better under Harry , people can say what they like about H coming short so far but he can attract players Pullis never could

Thanks: we're enjoying it, of course, after ten years of changing managers every five minutes. Pearson really is something special - we're just hoping that none of the big clubs comes in for him any time soon.

Well good luck to ya.. I think you will be in the Prem for many years to come now.
I think you will have a few more years with Pearson yet but it is correct that the prem is all about the big clubs cherry picking the clubs like yourselves eventually.
Cambiasso is one that gets me.. if he'd have come to us, there is no doubt he would of been a flop! We have that affect on decent pros who have won silverware.

I think your letting emotion get in the way of this one.. 1) it aint gona happen 2) I hardly think Gerry Francis is going to turn our season around single handy because he is a Rangers legend.

Nothing to do emotion it's about what G F did in turning Palace round last season , and what he did last time he was here he could have been at any club in the whole 96 before ,it's just wanting a good coach and not a football antichrist as manager

what you on about.. Redknapps Rangers through and through!.. his stated today that his dream signing with Rio would be John Terry

I mean seriously.. Is he ACTUALLY trying to get the sack? and has he ACTUALLY lost his marbles?.. He then continued to state that having Terry in our QPR team would single handily keep us up!!
