To be fair he said "arm chair critics". Guess he meant it is easy to criticise from the safety of your armchair with hindsight and all that, than to be the one making the decisions in real time and with millions of quids at stake. Donīt think he meant to imply anything about where the fans watch the games.

Doesn't matter.. he shouldn't of let it be open to interpretation without correcting himself.

Not sure what to make of this. A lot of managers won't work with director of football types. Suppose we'll have to see how the role pans out. It sounds like he's going to be the board's grass.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Yep. Legend and all that, but he doesn't strike me as one of the sharpest tools in the box, which is surely what's needed from a Director of Football. Here's hoping....

Round peg in a square hole. I predict Les will end up picking up a wage for doing sod all.

Another example of how poorly the club is run appointed a name rather than the best person for the job. Just because he is an ex player doesn't mean he is Qualified for the job. Add to that the media team tweeting his best goals, which has nothing to do with his current role and I seriously can't see how this will ever be turned round and really believe Fernandes is the real issue.

This is the best news that's come out of the club since the playoff final. I grew up idolising Sir Les and he's the best player I've ever seen at QPR. At least we know we've got someone at the club who cares and is a good man who knows his football, knows the club and will give his all for it

I think some fans really need to lighten up and stop looking at everything the club does as a negative.

People writing we have to many backroom staff; do we actually have more then any other premier league???? I could not tell you how many Burnley, Man City, Chelsea or Palace have guessing most of you are in the same boat so think people are just beating the club for the sake of it. We had the same amount of backroom staff last season as we do now just changed McLaren for Hoddle no one was moaning then???

As for Les not being qualified for the job again whats that based on we don't even know exactly what his job entails he might be the most qualified person out there dependent upon what the club wants also I have no idea what coaching qualifications he has or what coaching he has done since leaving Reading its all speculation guys

Lets put our gripes with Bagpuss to one side and stop knocking and beating the club for everything they do just because we are all a little bit grumpy

Will fill that gap between on and off pitch matters. It's what we've needed really.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Maybe I dreamt it but I was certain Les joined our staff a couple months back?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
