    An independent Manchester City fans' group joins a mass legal action against Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations.


    BBC Sport's Matt Slater:

    "There is no real debate about Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules breaking EU law: they do, emphatically."

    "Far from implementing a true financial fair play, this rule is in fact a prohibition to invest that prevents ambitious owners to develop their clubs," said MCFC Supporters' Club in a statement.

    "The Uefa rule may be bad news for MCFC supporters, but it is even worse news for supporters of all clubs that do not today belong to the established European elite."

      That's the nub of it. While UEFA wants everyone to believe it's helping clubs, it's creating an environment where the elite clubs stay at the top, and preventing other clubs with wealthy owners breaking into that group. UEFA is protecting the elite.

      FFP probably breaks a number of EU laws, and it's these laws that will be tested if a case ever gets to court.
      Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

              UEFA are worried that clubs spending above their means risk their future. So fine a little club like QPR £50m. Now that makes sense

                  It's already been stated that to fine us or anyone £50 mill and they then go into admin, means the fl will get you twice, for the same "crime" that they created
