think everyone's getting the wrong end of the stick....the original point made was really to highlight the fact yet again, that sky would have creamed themselves even further had falcao scored. Not particularly in praise of Green in general. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Forget it tw, you are fighting a losing battle. Didnt you get the memo. Green is total toilet along with the rest of the squad apart from ned and yun and sandro.Last edited by Kevin Mcleod; 16-09-2014, 07:10 PM. Reason: typed an 'm' instead of an 'n' cos they are next to each other on the keyboard. And there are so many nan kids on here.

Green is often praised for his run of clean sheets and performance at wembley but in that run he didn't really make a save you wouldn't expect him to make, and as for wembley only made one save of any note and that pretty much hit at the near post, which if he had conceeded he would have been slated for. All the mistakes going back to our last prem season are all forgotten, but they were fairly regular, as they have been throughout his career.
Phillips shows the odd bit of potential but really has faltered to deceive, both as a striker and a winger. Odd goal mixed with air shots, poor delivery, lack of awareness and little end product.
