If we are playing 3 at the back I would swap Hill with Onouha for this game as we will need more pace vs Man Utd.

If we stick with 4 ala Sunderland I would be tempted to swap Hill with Yun. Think my team would be:

Then on bench Krankjar or Taarabt late on for Fer if we need a goal, or Vargas for Fer and go 2 up top with Zamora also replacing Austin for last 20 mins.

Also, Caulker apparently said to journalists that Harry has said we are sticking to 4 at the back as the players are more comfortable with it

Thats what i read as well. Three at the back is totally scrapped cos the players hated it.

I like this team because if MU play with 3 at the back we need players who can use the space in the corners.
It was interesting to see how Burnley played against them. Higher than I thought allowing Blackett to bring up the ball but guarding others. Hardly any goalscoring chances for MU. Fancy us getting point(s) if we use the right tactic.

I dont think we will have a better chance of going to United and getting at least a point or possibly snatching all three

They are under pressure, have a new squad that dont know each other and the manager is trying to implement a totally new system plus before they play us most their players are away on international duty so they dont have the chance to get to know each other or the system.

If we go with the intention of giving them a game and getting amongst them we will come away with something

100% with you on this, maybe change Hill with Yun if fit and Sandro to start. I wouldn't risk Sandro so I'd have him start from the bench.

It never ceases to amaze me how easily people continue to dismiss Clint Hill. For me he brings that x factor that we have been so sorely lacking. In a word, I guess I'm talking about "character".
