full official list for every team is at http://www.premierleague.com/content...ember-2014.pdf (we're pages 31 (non-youth players) and 32 (youth players)) - harriman is not on either list, so not eligible until january.I'm confused. Offy says
Players born on or after January 1st 1993 are classed as under-21 players and are therefore eligible to feature throughout the season despite not being named in the official 25-man squad
Harriman was born in October 1992. So he's not eligible? Anyone know? Ehmer is in the squad.Comment

Just an observation on our new squad composition: We have only six that are not "homegrown". That is second only to Burnley that have only five non-HG. BTW one of our non-HG is Charlie. Worst in this regard(and many others) with only three HG players is...take a guess...full official list for every team is at http://www.premierleague.com/content...ember-2014.pdf (we're pages 31 (non-youth players) and 32 (youth players)) - harriman is not on either list, so not eligible until january.Comment

I'm not going to guess, but the rules say that you must have at least 8 HG players in the 25, iirc.
Edit; only if you submit a full 25-man squad. I guess a better way to look at it is no more than 17 non home-grown players in the squad.
Oh, and it's Chelsea.Last edited by Buffalo; 04-09-2014, 12:34 PM.Comment

When Adel refused to train, he was penalised. Remember Harry's saying that every time he turns up late he was deducted money from his was wages! Just like a working place! As for SWP.....agree re-training and making himself available, however, when giving the chance to play, although very rare....he blew it. Case in point...Burton."Contribution" aside, I was referring to several episodes with Adel like refusing to train, turning up unfit, storming off in a sulk etc. which would likely have resulted in a written warning to any "ordinary" person in an ordinary workplace. I have seen no evidence of such things from SWP.Comment

Yes, I didn't say he wasn't penalised. But if you or I repeatedly mess up we would receive a number of warnings and either learn or be fired. I am saying that if that logic was applied to footballers, it is likely that Adel would have been fired some time ago, whereas SWP would not. When Adel refused to train, he was penalised.
