Borini is 23, should we get Defoe he's will only play for QPR for a 2 or 3 years max so I rather borini who is a good player and can improve at QPR being one of our main player for many years

I think the reason we made a bid for borini was defoes wage demands, I might be wrong but it makes senseComment

Defoe will bang in goals for fun. A like-for-like replacement for Remy.
The other lad must one for the future though. The Sunderland fans are committing Hari-Kiri en-mass over his potential move to us......... Lol.Comment

You've got to look at this from a business perspective - Borini, if he finds form and scores goals in the PL, would increase in value by maybe another £3-4m next summer. Defoe on the other hand could score 10-15 goals this season and still not be worth much more than whatever we would be preapred to buy him for. TF has said all along that he wants players who will hold or increase their value, and for me Borini fits that bill. Yes, £10-13m is a lot, but the guy has another 1-2 years to improve, and then another 3-4 years in his prime. Add the lower wages into the equation, and for me Borini just makes more sense.Comment

My God, you really have got a cob on about Borini haven't you? I wouldn't necessarily call a goal every 4.5 games (as he did with Sunderland) "dreadful". He never even got a chance at Liverpool, so you can't factor that into your argument.Comment
