He will go ,no doubt ,if any top club can get him for 8 mil ,then sell him on for 20 plus ,we were never gonna keep him . Shame ,because his goals could have made the difference for us this season .Hope its not Chelsea though ....

Think he will struggle in any of the top 4 teams here, shame he goes but if he ain't wanting to stay with us ...good bye

I agree and then he won't be even worth the 8 or 10 million they are paying. Maybe we can then buy him back. Only joking, been there done that.

Arsenal have ended their interest in signing QPR striker Loic Remy, Sky sources understand.

The Gunners reportedly joined Chelsea in triggering Remy's £10.5m release clause on Saturday, but their decision to withdraw from the race to sign the Frenchman means a move to Chelsea is more likely.

Both sides are looking for a new striker to bolster their options, with Chelsea set to lose Fernando Torres to Milan and Arsenal facing four months without Olivier Giroud, who has had surgery on a broken ankle.

Remy, a target for Liverpool earlier in the summer, appeared set to stay with QPR last week but he was a late withdrawal from Harry Redknapp's squad to face Sunderland on Saturday, much to the manager's surprise.

Before that game, Redknapp said: "The deal looks like it is probably done so I had to make a change in the team.

"He didn't refuse to play or anything, but speaking to him it is difficult. If he is moving and signing for another team, it’s difficult to go out there and get your head around playing."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho confirmed his interest in Remy after the 6-3 thriller against Everton on Saturday.

He said: “We are trying to get Remy. The information we have from specialists in different areas is that he doesn’t have a problem to play football.”

Arsenal's decision to pass on Remy could mean Arsene Wenger sticking with his current forward options to replace Giroud, who was injured late in the 2-2 draw with Everton earlier in August

Where'd they get those stats? He hasn't scored for us in these 3 last appearances... Anyway didn't think Arsenal were willing to fork out for his wages. They were linked to him a couple of weeks back and said they won't match what he's already getting at QPR which is why Liverpool got in there cos he did prefer to stay in London initially.

no one's ever paying 20M for Remy, that ship has sailed. high wages + insurance problems due to his heart + the likelihood that he'll decline in the next 2years or so means that he's not an attractive prospect for most clubs. Sadly he can do exactly the job Chelsea need, and he's perfectly suited to playing in front of Fabregas.

Rather he went Arsenal but even though it makes sense I don't think he's the right player for them, they should spend more and get an Higuain or someone.
