Rangers clinch signing of highly-rated goalkeeper Alex McCarthy from Reading ...

Highly rated goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has joined Queens Park Rangers, signing a four-year deal at Loftus Road.

The 24 year-old shot-stopper has penned a deal until the summer of 2018, after Rangers agreed an undisclosed fee with Championship outfit Reading for his services.

The ex-England U21 international, who won three caps for the Young Lions, will wear the number 12 shirt.
