If the contract is better for the club only, and not for Harry, maybe he will stall. So if the new contract is concluded swiflty now, it will surely mean Harry is going to be an even richer man and QPR even more in debt. I really don't understand why this has to be done in late August after a pish poor start in the PL.

I can see the logic in it...

We have signed young players for the future and so a long term build is required.

It also gives players signing some reassurance for the long term.
