We should know by now with harry it never his fault when we lose, always the players fault in his eyes.

It his and the players faults

He just seemed lost. How many times did he say "it's difficult"?
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

            BBC....

QPR boss Harry Redknapp: "We didn't play well and got what we deserved, which is nothing.
"I thought we were in awe of Tottenham a little bit. You have to play with energy, you can't stroll about in this division if you want to stay in it."

Seemed to me that he did ask TF for "better" players that the new ones we saw today.. Hmm.

It doesn't matter how many excuses Harry likes to come up with, the bottom line is that the responsibility for both team selection and tactics ultimately lies with him.

He got them wrong on both counts today, and for that he deserves to be criticised.

Harry needs to play the team today, against Burton Albion in the league cup on Wednesday night.
We all need a bit of a morale booster, players/fans/coaching staff.
And playing an under strength side, and possibly bowing out of the cup to a league one/two side, will probably lower morale further. Not good before Sunderland on Saturday.

Other than 0 points from 6, the secondary problem is how he's going to build his players' confidence back up, which will obviously have taken a blow given our start to the season:

Got over run if he couldn't see that and make a change that's his fault most could see they had too much room and he done nothing until we were3-0 down?..

I would personally see us getting a new manager in.

If you have just lost 4-0 and are then asked to attend a press conference, I think most people would look dejected. I don't actually recall him saying that it wasn't his fault, and he could have easily sent somebody else along to the press conference and not gone himself.

We have now had three managers while in the premiership, all with different ideas. What are we going to do keep changing managers? That is not the way to achieve any sort of success.

Exactly. Ridiculous reaction from some. Let's wait and see, can't judge after two games.

I'm certainly not one of those calling for a change, but his tactics and team selection yesterday were suspect imo.

yup, and the danger of setting up that way, with those particular three was obvious - not talking with hindsight either.

He's an experienced manager, which makes the press conference more worrying, he used to be able to talk anything away. I know I'll get slated, but I predict TF wont hang around if things don't improve very rapidly. He wont make the same mistake twice.

I'm gonna be careful what I say here after the slating I took on Friday for suggesting years had caught up with Harry. What I will say is that anyone watching that game with even a moderate understanding of football could probably point out a lot of what was wrong with us.

The players clearly don't know the system. The bank of 3 in midfield looked lost, nobody seemed to know whether their job was to hold or to push forward and there was absolutely no cover for our back 3. This in turn lead to the 3 centres half not knowing whether to close players down or to stay in a line, the 2nd goal (I think) when Rio came rushing out was an example of this. Our 2 wing backs/full backs were bombing forward leaving huge gaps behind them, Richard Dunne in particular seemed to have no idea what to do when the ball was played into that space. Then up top we had Remy who likes to pull wide and drop deep and Phillips (a winger who's never played up top before) who both looked totally lost.

For Harry to come out after the game, stick up for Ferdinand & Caulker and blame a lack of options is baffling to me. We have a far better squad than any of the other promoted teams and a lot of the other sides at the bottom. The problem today was purely how we set up. Harry either needs to do some serious work on the training pitch to address our inadequacies or admit that 3-5-2 doesn't work in this league and go back to 2 banks of 4.
