Hmmm..... Can't see many peoples' web history, email trash and mobile phone activity would look pure as the driven snow if it were subject to forensic analysis going back a few years: all seems very out of proportion to me - it's like there are legions of folks out there just waiting to be offended so they can go off on some righteous outburst.

I ain't no saint. I used to come up with comments about beautiful Ladies which I regret until I got educated about certain pain it caused the ladies, for which am grateful to learn about the errors of my ways. It's the sheer ignorance that some people think the language Malky used isn't wrong or racist. But in a way, it's a blessing in disguise this has happened,as people will have no option but to get educated. So every silver lining and all that...

It baffles me how you don't know what words conjure pain which get simply brushed under the carpet as "banter" or "too pc".I pray, for your sake, that you will learn one day. Can't disagree there. But punishment is too often the order of the day. Transgressions ought not be lumped together; the private and occasional ought be distinguished from the public and the habitual; the careless and thoughtless from the cruel and vile. And since when have the woefully mediocre Jason Roberts and Stan f reaking Collymore been elected Football's moral arbiters?? Can you imagine the utter glee with which these professional grievance mongers- and sundry Guardianistas- fell upon the luckless Mackey???

Depends on whether you prioritize offending the odd one or two you meet in daily life who actually genuinely get offended and not those like yourself who just pretend or are offended FOR them. Malky was a fool and got caught...still feel a bit sorry for him though if he loses his career over it.
