He was full of attacking energy striking the crossbar I think last Sat as well right. Proper right sort as well for a young'un. Seems humble and down to earth. I've seen far more standout moments from Adel over the years albeit seen more of him. They are very different types of players of course and Balotelli has silly hair but for me I've very rarely been that impressed with him. A poor man's Devon White.

We're not looking to finish top half (for now),we're not even looking to finish mid table (for now), we're simply looking to survive!... that's the reality, just because we've made some fantastic signings doesn't mean we've automatically become some force to be reckoned with in the premiership. We're got to earn that status. How people think we're to good for Townsend is beyond me.... Townsends a future England star IMO. The only reason he didn't go to the World Cup was because of injury. He played brilliantly in every England friendly before he got injured.... the 'only' reason we shouldn't be after him is because that position might be filled.

Townsend would be a good signing for us but being an England international means fock all these days. Not a footballing power anymore if we ever was.

I thought Borini did ok last season in a struggling Sunderland side. However fee quoted way OTT. Would have said more like £7m reasonable amount.
