If the imminent signings of Vargas and Fer do materialize, it is to be noted that we changed 7 players from the team that won promotion last season, if Remy is also included as a 'NEW' player! I think that most of the players that have joined are of a much better quality then what we have had before, however, I hope we will not be dragged into a 'gel' situation like the last time we were in the Premier! I am sure that the inclusion of Glenn Hoddle will ensure this will not be the case.

it was imperative that we improved the starting 11 and squad as a whole in order to stay in this league.
we have made the correct signings with the bulk being english with prem experience.

Yes, we did the correct signings with all the attributes required. Like you, this time I am very optimistic. However, we needs to start collecting points a.q.a.b. as morale will drop fast.Comment

It'll be easier to gel as the core of last season are still here, players brought in seem to want to play for QPR and no-one is p*ssed off because someone has come in on the back of their hard work to get promoted at 4x their salary !Comment

We did learnt our lessons...I mean the board did, as we were always urging them to do exactly what been done now. Most of the players are of a good quality, good age and easily increase their sale value if we drop again. Hope this season will be the start of us getting back to eighties and nineties way of doing things. That includes a good academy.Comment

We needed to do what has been done. At times last season was very much Dad's army and very predictable. I'm looking forward to seeing how the team does once they have all gelled. On paper a decent first eleven and some good players in reserve.Comment
