Talksport have said he has gone, we won't be paying his wages but we did pay him a large lump sum. I'd imagine that was at least 1 million so we haven't done well out of this but we have done what was needed which was cut our loses on the bloke

He's a good keeper, but the club couldn't afford to be paying him that much on the bench. Permanent deal is terrific news.

Good luck to him. I thought he was good for us but he played in a very poor team with an awful defence. We never needed both him and Rob Green, though. At least he's off the wage bill now
