Like many others I find myself in agreement with every single word.

so he is a hero and the man to score us the goals because he used to lay bricks?

No, of course not. It's probably more to do with the fact that he hasn't been a pampered poodle all his career like so many supposedly top players. He had to work bl00dy hard, playing part-time whilst holding down a full time job. He progressed via the lower leagues, scoring for fun wherever he went. And despite not a lot of service last season and a horrible injury, he still scored his fair share, including two rather important ones against Wigan.

Added to this, he has none of the usual airs and graces, seems a thoroughly down to earth and decent fella and really wants to succeed with us. Also seems very popular within the group of players we now have.

There are other things too of course. Little things like the tickets he got for fans for Wembley. When all put together, he seems like somebody we should be proud to have at our club and deserves our full support in return for the full commitment he appears to give us.

Desperately hoping for both his sake and ours that he continues his progression with us.

As a side issue, can you imagine what a player young Mr Taraabt could have been with Charlie's attitude and desire?

Well it was about time, was getting withdrawal symptoms.

And don't be so cheeky, just because you've turned 28.

What a lovely post. Fact is though the original post is still correct and Remy is a class above and a much better striker than Austin.

Austin does need to buck up. Yes he is the right sort but he played like he did in the playoff. I'd be tempted to start zamora with remy Sunday
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You'd drop someone after one game and the same player who scored 20 goals last season?

Too much pressure on his shoulders given this was his debut in the Prem.
