He essentially said that if the Townsend for Remy swap were to happen then it happens and we'd work on that.

On another note he sounds very astute tactically, and I think he'll be a boost to the coaching staff.

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Worrying if so. I really like andros but in current circumstances he wd be a bit of a luxury signing whereas remy is the single most important player to our survival chances.

Not many 16 goal a season prem strikers likely to come to a club our size mate. If he stays all season i have a sneaking feeling we cd survive in the prem.

Dont get me wrong, i totally see your point but i also dont think if he goes that we wouldnt break the bank for someone nearly as good. So its not so clear cut for me. But without him and JUST chaz and bobby i would agree we would properly struggle to stay up, and i doubt very much we would.

I'm sure Hoddle played for QPR in a friendly game. Was it Gavin Peacock's testimonial v Chelski?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Out of interest who do you think would come here who is the quality, or near to, of Remy? I know, if what has been said about his release clause is correct, we can't stop him leaving if the clause is met & he wants to leave. Best striker down the Bush since Les IMHO.

Deeney is quoted as more than we wd get for remy. I admire your optimism but just cant see us getting someone half as good even if we do break the bank, and not sure tony is in the mood to do that in any case mate...
