Faurlin looking decent, Mutch didn't look fit but made some promising runs, Bobby and Barton put themselves about and looked 'up for it'

Only downside was SWP the oxygen thief got a run out at leftback

We looked solid defensively but had no creativity, don't think we will concede many but we don't look like we will score many because we are creating nothing, need at least two more strikers one with some pace and a creative midfielder.

It's a pity Adel is mad, this system is made for him, JH seems to be putting himself about a bit more, I didn't think SWP was as bad as people are saying but maybe the damage is done with him.

I thought Mutch looks a footballer, played SWP in a few times late on, he see's the slide ball between the CB and full back, with Isla and Traore fully up too speed it could be good.

Ali sprayed it around, Nedum has to play instead of Dunne, he will get exposed in behind.

Last season a friend of mine stated that Charlie wouldn't make the step up, he sited his hold up play as one of his faults, I hope he is wrong!

We still need two strikers, if Remy stays? A proper holding centre mid, plus another attacking CM, finally, another CB, a tall order.
                Kept the faith!

You mean that Dunne, solid first half, could get exposed and cost us a goal in the way that the Chief was exposed and helped cost us a goal second half??? I fear your pal might be right about Charlie. I hope not. But he was poor today.

Love Charlie Austin but really think he'll struggle in this system. Has a knack for goals but hasn't the movement, speed or nous to be a regular scorer in the premier league.

Shoot me down in flames but it's just my opinion.

A poor pre season and lookng well unfit has had a few people thinking and saying the same thing, so you wont get flamed.
Personally i think he will be an unused sub till Remy goes to Barca, Real Madrid or Man City in a double deal with Adel.

my bad. Forgot you dont do jokey posts. Still think charlie will be a sub, and no club wants remy for peanuts so he could be here all season.
