    Our "Now" 18-man Lineup???

Assuming the contractual retention of Remy, and that we ultimately send Adel out on loan (Harry's justified in thinking the disruptive cost of Taarabt outweighs the benefits of his talents), believe this is where we are going into opening day vs Hull:

    Starting:
    Green
    Onouha Caulker Ferdinand
    Isla Simpson
    Phillips Barton Mutch
    Remy Austin

    Subs:
    Murphy
    Dunne (or Hill) Sun Yuk-Young
    Hoilett Henry Traore
    Zamora

    X-Factors:
    Adel Taarabt
    Alejandro Faurlein
    Shawn Wright Phillips

    Thoughts?

Isla and Simpson starting? Both right footers, need Traore in there.

      I would prefer Yun.

Agree with Bakes on wingbacks. Simpson will play second fiddle to Isla when playign a 3-5-2.

Hmmm unless Ferdinand plays at least one game (ie last friendly on Sat)....I'd have reservations about starting him too!!!

And not sure he's going to swap Junior (who's playing and scoring) with Phillips (who like Ferdinand) hasn't featured.

Sorry did you mean this is what you'd like to see? Or what you actually think Harry will play?

Finally, be a shame if Ale doesn't even make the bench. Swap for Karl?

        Looking good though mate :-)

After watching Traore vs Shamrock.......didn't put a decent ball in, no right foot......I agree. At least try him.

          But I'm happy enough Traore.

Good point about two starting right-footers bakes8.

I may be in the minority here, but believe Hoilett is a real spark plug for this team who is certainly qualified enough to start, but may play better into the flow of the game as the first off the bench.

Traore needs to get back to where he ended last season -- his speed and versatility would be a big asset.

Am okay with either Dunne or Hill if Ferdinand not a full-time starter.

This. And Number 10. Can't play Simpson on the left.

My thoughts: I don't like that you use different fonts all then time. I also don't like the use of the term "x-factors".

Also, I hate to be the one, buuuuut, get yer spelling right! "Faurlein" "Sun Yuk-Young"

Sorry for the typos. Just really jazzed to vs a QPR fan in the States.

JH has to start, he could be our X factor this season, if Adel stays, these two can fight out the No 10 role.
                          Kept the faith!
