    Marc Wilson

Richard Dunne may have exited the international scene but Marc Wilson is an able successor in the Ireland defence, according to Harry Redknapp.

A player I have always rated, he would be a great addition as we are playing 3 at the back.

Never rated him as a centre half, decent enough holding midfielder.

In a 3 he would be great and would bring the ball out of defence

To be honest given squad strengths and weaknesses might as well be Brian Wilson ...... priorities must be elsewhere right now.

Bringing the ball out of the defence is all he would be able to do in that position for me.

He's not that good in the air, not that quick, not as strong or dominating as a natural centre half.

I'd prefer all our current players in that position over him.
