I know we have been disappointed before but you sense things are starting to happen. Some of the players might not be our first or even third choices but all the names we are now being linked with - i dont count aged brazilian superstars as i cant take those rumours seriously - sound like sensible, shrewd and impressive acquisitions. And as for fans slating the owner, whose money do they think is about to be chucked at the roulette table that is the football transfer season? If he loses the boyish enthusiasm that sometimes sees him celebrate successes a little too early - well then we will be in trouble because thats prob exactly when he walks away.

Sounds promising and certainly gives the impression we should expect maybe 2 or 3 players. The fact he says a lot of quiet work certainly raises hope that we have been doing some decent business behind the scenes and hopefully will help the ones panicking.
I think HR and tf have been fantastic so far and come next week or end of the transfer window the ones who have slagged harry off with this only buys over 30's not right sort will have to eat their hat.

A report said fer was away till fri on honeymoon and southampton have been sniffing around. Purely a guess but suspect mutch has come into the frame because fer is proving difficult.
