I'm more optimistic about our survival but still think we will struggle for the majority of the season.

I'm the other way round. Was thinking guaranteed to finish last but I do believe the Ferdinand signing will improve everything. I reckon we will get Caulker coz of it and reckon we have a better chance of keeping Remy as well. I feel positive that we can finish just below mid table which hopefully we can build on

the Championship and Premiership are miles apart in terms of quality. Look back to January when QPR went to Everton for the FA Cup game. QPR were comfortably thrashed by Everton.

The current QPR squad is woefully short of numbers and talent.

There's optimistic, pessimistic, realistic and a fantasist and anyone who thinks this squad (with the possible departure of Remy lingering) is good enough belongs in the latter group.

With not knowing who is staying atm and with the squad the way it is atm we'd be in trouble but im optimistic that the club will bring in the right players this time to make us competitive which is all we can ask for.
I believ in the next week or two we will see some decent good aged players turn up which will take us from a team at present that would probably struggle to a team who can hold their own and maybe suprise a few teams every so often.

Optimistic. Rio is a fantastic signing and increased my opto-meter considerably!

We will be in the bottom half for most or all of the season but I think we'll be clear of the relegation places too.

If survival is going to be the be-all, and end-all, of our season, and subsequent seasons come to that, then yes, I'm reasonably optimistic.

Desperately need more quality. Not a complete overhaul but in reality we only have one striker. Centre midfield I'll be worried about if we don't bring in a couple quality players in that area.

At the end of the season all I want is us to stay up. How we do, were we finish I don't care. Yes I like us win the first 12 games and then we safe, yes I like it that we never be in the bottom 8 clubs. The only thing that I really want is that when we play each game we play like we did in the last 3 games of the season as a team. I don't want the seasons we had last time in the prem where we did not have a team unity at all. If I can come away from every game saying that 80% of the players give 100% to club I be happy. Remember every play going to have off days. I believe this time we getting players here for the right reason the club and believe we stay up. I believe we then go on from there strength to strength. The over thing is we the fan have big responsibility from the 1st min of the seasn to the last min of the season we don't stop singing, cheering, when we winning, drawing or losing. If we do this the players be lifted we e lifted and we do great. I BELIEVE IN THE BOARD, MANGER, COACHES, PLAYERS, AND US THE FANS.

Not sure if optimistic is the word, but I'm certainly a lot more excited than I've been for a couple of years so I guess that means something!
