The time we are wasting on discussing this! I must admit, I don't remember reading about Tony denying the buy out clause. My gut tells me there is one otherwise I don't know why we'd even be considering selling him - after all, we did loan him out in the hope we'd bounce straight back up and here we are!

TF said it in January or February when there was talk of Remy going permanently to Newcastle. I think it was on twitter. I can't find the actual information but this was followed up by an article in the Mail which said that Rangers thought the buy out clause was only until the end of the season http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...h-striker.html. Harry also mentioned at this time (and I remember him saying it) that if they were offered 15 or 16 million for Remy they would have to consider it.

I believe Harry said he imagined he would have a buy out clause. This was at the end of the season and I do not recall him repeating this.

Matty, I am a bit of an airhead but I wasn't dreaming, in fact at the time I forwarded the interview on to my son who was also a dis-believer, it was shortly after remy went to Newcastle and once again Harry was flaffing about the buy out clause and saying he wasn't sure or not, and then shortly after TF was interviewed and he was asked the question outright, he said there was no buy out clause and in fact he was very close to remy and hoping he'd rejoin at the end of the season (when our position was known) Harry in the meantime has courted the media I believe witha buy out clause (maybe) but he had already said he didn't know 100%
If TF is playing games then so be it but I don't think he is that sort, it was widely reported on here at the time, and as for everyone knowing he has a buy out clause is driven by comments on here and Harry himself, as I said I will give TF the benefit of the doubt, bloody interview was so long ago wish I'd kept the link !!

Matty,you did actually get me questioning myself but i'm so glad others have now spoken up and agreed with me on the interview,as you say nothing less than 15mil which is what harry has been saying,otherwise he stays,but i do think TF is trying everything to keep him !!
