Read the other day that Jimmy Smith - not the bald eagle but the young Chelsea midfielder we had on loan - had just gone from some virtual non-league outfit to Crawley Town. Just because some of these youngsters are on the books of big clubs there is no guarantee they will kick on, and most don't.

Lower and non leagues littered with once promising youngsters. Would not surprise me if LTC is at league one level in a few years. How old is he now?
