I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it! -

If Rhodes was available for as little as 5m quid I guarantee you that nearly every side outside of the top 6 in the Prem would be taking an interest as well as another 5 or 6 sides in the Championship!Comment

Why don't you like foreigners - you don´t want success? - surely the GB national teams are not that goodI wouldn't be against signing Rhodes. I for one don't want too many foreigners and he comes across as an articulate lad, who does seem like he has been very grounded a little like Austin.
We need good quality players with the right attitude and signing Rhodes would go along way into showing that we have learn't from our mistakes.Comment

We paid £5m for Austin didn't we?QPR fan since1987

4m quid I believe Yousef but Rhodes is younger and has a better goalscoring record as well as a better track record with injuries. Remember that we only got Austin last year after Hull withdrew a 5m offer when he failed a medical for an old knee injury.Last edited by Tarbie; 08-07-2014, 12:06 PM.Comment

But he's chosen Scottish as his nationality for professional sporting reasons. Makes him a sweaty in my book.
What right-minded Englishman would choose to represent the sweaties?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

I would take a chance on Rhodes. The lad looks every inch a natural born goalscorer, and I just cannot see him failing once he makes that step up to the premiership.Comment

Totally agree. Bear in mind this will be charlie's 1st season in the prem and so the pressure may get to him. If we had someone who is proven at prem level it will relieve some of that pressure on charlieComment
