The guys is all about how much money he can make. This way he can constantly negotiate higher wages as any future transfers wont cost that much or be a free.

Why else would you turn down Milan for Hull or QPR unless you were a life long fan as a child as then it would be like coming home.

Can go both ways though West, if he doesn't set Hull alight might struggle to get another decent move and two years doesn't give him much insurance, might find the two year bit was at Hull's insistance.
