I think he's overrated as he's English but is a good cb. Not the quickest but no slouch. Very good in the air and strong. Would love him to play alongside rio and hopefully learn how to read the game so his lack of pace doesn't affect him as much

      Caulker all day long.

Don't know much about this Forest lad tbh, no doubt he is a great talent, but I'd take a proven PL player over potential talent all day long. Caulker is a very good player, would be surprised if we managed to sign him tbh.

Too good to be overlooked by more established prem clubs.

My thinking exactly. Surely the likes of Everton & Southampton would nick him form under our noses?

Maybe Everton, but no sure of Southampton. I think they could struggle next season.

Just hope everyone on our targets team is singing from the same hymn sheet.........

Just been reading Clive Woodward's book on the 03 Rugby world cup. He came into a dysfunctional set up and turned it round by leaving nothing to chance. The rift between the board (RFU) and England management and coaches was sorted. Everyone on the staff knew exactly what they had to do and what the terms were. I can't help feeling other management teams still haven't learned that lesson.

Few people saying that as they've sold some key players, but I can't see it tbh. Think they'll be fine, they have plenty of our quality young players coming through, plus they've now got £100m to spend on players. Don't think they'll do as well as they did last season but can't see them being in a relegation scrap.

Depends how much we are prepared to pay him and by all accounts it's quite a bit and certainly more than Everton would stretch too.

As other have said if its a straight choice between the two it has to be Caulker for his 2 years of prem experience where tbf he was outstanding for both swansea and cardiff. Would love both but caulker get the nod for me.

Forest have just signed a young CB from Barcelona....maybe Lascelles is on his way out the door after all?
