I am more interested in DeAndre Yedlin the RB - we dont need more CB after Ferdinand, Caulkin

He had a great world cup, a solid, no nonsense type. Apart from that I've never watched him before, I hope the club have, as buying players on the back of a decent world cup is risky business!

                Caulker.

Rio, Dunne, Hill could get injured at any point, leaving Neds and Caulker. I think we do need another.

Regarding Yedlin. You probably didn't hear of him until half an hour into the USA game the other night, he could be pony. We need to scout players properly, not based on world cup performances.

It says that Redknapp tried to bring him to LR 18 months ago, so I assume he knows something about him.
Just 27 so not a bad age.

I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more.

As for Yedlin after watching him the past while I will say he is a pretty good player and could do a number for us. He's come from virtual unknowns and rose through the MLS youth system with the Sounders. The only thing about him is that sometimes he gets caught to far forward and will leave the defense susceptible but a damn bullet running up and down the right side.

                        It's him Dave, M. Besler.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

He did impress, as did Johnson before he went off injured with Yedlin replacing him. I'm not sure we need attacking full back at present though, not ideal when battling to stay in the league, but saying that he could have his use as a squad player and be used in games where we can attack the opposition with full backs. I read this morning that Liverpool are inviting him for a trial.

He was offered a trial in 2013 (according to one of our older threads). Anybody know why he did not come.

Sporting Kansas are playing this afternoon and it is being televised on ESPN. Besler isn't playing but was interviewed. He indicated he was very happy at Sporting Kansas. Not that that means anything.
