YUN- starter? bench warmer? out on loan?

As it stands he's our only LB. The opportunities he was given last season I thought he took them and performed. I personally would like to see him given the chance in the premiership but my only concern is, would it be to much of a case of throwing him in the deep end?

Traore is an option, but I'm not sure I want to see him play back there again. I would like to see Yun given a chance personally, but if it doesn't work out, we're screwed currently.

The man has just played in a World Cup!!! Of course he is ready, the only question is, is he good enough? The answer I believe is yes!

I like him and I hope he's good enough for the PL.

The right type of player for the side that needs to be built.

Wonder how long it will be before some start throwing toffees at him.

If he isn't given a chance then his days are numbered with us which will be a shame as he is a decent player.

Would rather Yun play than Wayne 'triffic lad' Bridge.

Not good enough for me, not at PL level. Far to weak and positionally looked naive in the World Cup. Send him out on loan and bulk him up a little, he must weigh 6 stone wet.

Also the fact Harry decided to play Clint at left back suggests he doesn't think he's up to it at Championship level never mind PL.

Good point about the WC, I suppose you can't get better experience than playing on footballs biggest stage!.... but could he handle the physical premiership week in week out for a whole season? Personally I think he could. What he lacks in strength he makes up in age, athleticness (new word!), energy... I think hell be a handful for any striker. I don't think many will get past him, he'll stick with them like glue.

No disrespect to the lad but just because he's one of his country's best left backs doesn't automatically guarantee him a start for us. It will be a gamble to start the season with him as first choice. You can have all the energy in the world but if you don't know what to do with it you're lost...

I agree on the general idea but with yun, I think we saw from him last season that he does know how to apply his athleticism and energy in a positive manner. Personally I would love to see him get a chance as he has played brilliantly in every performance for us so far.
