Definitely not a starter, but will play more minutes than Faurlin.

Good athletically & technically, well worth keeping.

It's easy to forget how young he is as well, could develop into a solid player.

I have always held out hope for him, the potential flip side of this is Adel, they are good mates, with his new found attitude, both of them on the L side could be interesting?

We need Pace and this kid has that.

Obviously impressed HR with his attitude last season, nice to see him rewarded. Good cover for wide positions if not a guarenteed starter.

Got to disagree with that Del. Some of his crossing is woeful. Yeah he has put in a couple of peaches, but far more dreadful passes and there has been many games where he has been non-existent. I do still think though that he has bags of potential. Each to their own though.

He can only be cover, surely. And as for him being a great crosser of the ball I can't remember him actually putting in a cross last season let alone a good one. Nor seeing any one score from some such cross (yes, yes: Stoke and Man City away two seasons ago, I know...)

Agree with both. Happy with this news. Handy player to call upon. Just hope he becomes more durable. Bit of a glass man.

I think Holliett had the most assists from a wide position last season, but overall we weren't good at getting the ball in the box. A shame, because when Phillips, Holliett and, occasionally, Simpson did Charlie managed to get on the end of them.

Traores crossing is pretty woeful, maybe everyone else is even worse thats why we think he's ok at it. 3 assists in 50 odd games according to wiki, and non in the past 2 seasons!! Who is he crossing to exactly??

The bloke has skill and pace - example was the great goal at Bournemouth. Definitely not a left back and could be a fantastic winger. Just needs to sort out his crystal legs!
