what a move for the lad to sporting lisbon. But am really surprised that no prem team took a gamble or us. The lad looked class last year and I think its very shrewd business by sporting. I like their left back too who I believe West ham are after.

Why hasn't no PL club bought him though, that's the question. Exactly the same as when Bayern Munich bought Dale Jennings from Tranmere a few years ago, now he's back playing for Barnsley and was loaned out to MK Dons in the latter stages of last season.

I agree matt but at 3 mill worth the gamble imo. They have just put a 60 mill clause in his contract.

60m Euro, around 48m Sterling. If that ever gets met, I'll eat my hat!

this is good, more British players need to go & play abroad in their formative years. he will be a better player for it, playing for a winning team in a technical league
