Only reason we would go down would be a lack of pace in central mid and not enough cover for Dunne.

The bones of the side are actually there.

Green, Simpson, Onouha, Yun, Barton, Phillips, Hoilett, Austin are all going to be OK this season with Dunne, Henry, Traore, Faurlin, Hill rounding out the squad.

There is no need to panic just yet because if Rio, Caulker, a CM and a couple of strikers join we will be OK

Don't you guys think it's too soon, as Alejandro Faurlin has only just come back from his 2nd ACL injury.
He needs time on the pitch in friendlies to gain match fitness first.

Actually not pointless because it should open discussions on where the need is

i hope hoilett is no where near our squad and remy will be gone so pretty pointless. plus if we play hull wit the squad we have atm i wouldnt be too confident. good thing i have complete faith in the fact we will be investing but sensibly.
Also personally think harry will go 4 4 2 more often next year if he gets the people he wants.

I'd put Yun ahead of Hill at LB but I'm not too sure he's of prem quality yet.

The signs aren't good. For example, we've got Simpson and Yun as full backs. Who else? At CB we've got Ned Dunne and Hill. We need at least one other.

In midfield we don't know how Ale will recover. Up front we don't have any cover for Austin. On the wings we've got Hoilett Phillips and Traore.

I'm sorry to say this, but we're threadbare and need a major rebuild.
