Realistically who is in out Premier mini League next season

Exactly. Also Cardiff walked the league last season and the only one of the three promoted teams to drop. Championship standings mean very little in relation to how they'll do in the prem.

This season is all about survival in order to build a future on. If we finish 4th from bottom then that is job done.

I don't agree with you at all Derick.
The fact of the matter is, that if we all take off our QPR hats we have to admit that both Burnley and Leicester have a much stronger squad than ours. A championship season does not tell lies and I have been v impressed with them. We need to add much more quality if we hope to stay up.

I think West Ham are going to struggle big time - last season they got points against the lower teams, especially at home, which ultimately saved them

next season, if they don't do the same again, they're in trouble

I think Hull will be ok and unfortunately Stoke - all the others could be involved, Villa and the 3 promoted especially

If you add Remy to last seasons squad I think it would just about survive.
Bringing in a bunch of kids probably means relegation and 5 years in the Championship - like Derby.
Add half a dozen proven EPL players that Harry fancies and I would bet on a mid table (10th-14th)finish myself.

Totally agree. All this #buildforthefuture gang dont realise that doing that would most likely mean back down to the championship for years.

The key to surviving is not who's in our mini league, but how many wins you have against them. In 11/12 we beat Chelsea, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool, which at the time was wonderful, as was the unforgettable experience at the Etihad. But had we lost those five games, and beaten the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Norwich, Villa and Fulham, we'd probably have had our feet long before Mackie nearly brought on a heart attack in Manchester.

Agree it'll be very tough but I also think we'll stay up.... I think TF and Co have learnt a lot since our previous disastrous premiership outing, in terms of signings. IMO there's no doubt the current team wouldn't last in the premiership, so its vital we get the new signings right. And I trust the board to do just that.... also just because no signings have been made or there's been no real concrete 'media' talk of new signings, doesn't mean we're not talking/putting plans into action behind the scenes.

5/6 first team signings AND 5/6 squad signings, that 10-12 new player's. If that happens then were certainly doomed!!! Last season we got promoted mainly because of our team spirit. If we bring in that many new faces then we can kiss goodbye to our team spirit.

IMO we need to build around what we've got not the other way around. If we can keep the main core of player's that want to be here, who've got drive and want push this club forward - Green, Dunne, Hill, Barton, Austin, Ned etc. We're not looking to finish top half of the table, let's concentrate on just staying up. It doesn't matter if for example Hill and maybe Barton aren't premiership player's anymore, they can still do a good shift as a sub and be priceless for what the bring to the dressing room. IMO we need to bring in 4 maybe 5 max this season and then build a team/squad over each season not overhaul in one transfer window.
