Player's who go to the mls tend to go there when they reach a certain age and have achieved something...... not sure what he's achieved? In other words he's going there to get paid to have a holiday.

If he was good enough he wouldn't be going out to the MLS. These guys have agents whose job it is to get them new contracts so if this represents the best he could do then it suggests he either wants too much money, he's not good enough or both...
