Your pal must be in the minority I think, on the whole Cardiff fans really rate him - from the handful of Cardiff games I saw last year he looked a very steady & assured CB for his age. Not a world beater of course, but didn't look out of his depth 1 bit in the PL.

As for the money, tbh I would take any figures you har banded about with a huge pinch of salt these days. Papers printed we were paying Cesar £100k a week when Fernandes himself came out and clarified out highest paid player was on £65k a week. Papers will talk poo poo & will enhance figures when we are mentioned now that we have this big spending tag attached to us.

Caulker is a cracking player especially for QPR - we would be lucky to have him - these type of deals are not simple and take time.

Depends on whether he would play regularly in the first team. Martinez is in Brazil at the moment (commenting for ESPN in the US) so possibly nothing will happen until he gets back.
