If you lose possession with the 2 wingbacks higher up the pitch then you need the two DM's to drop back and cover for them - that's how 352 works. However I agree with WeAre that Simpson is not WB material. Yun would be ideal in that role though. And Nedum, Dun/hill + another pacier CB would work.

I'd like to see him given the chance to prove himself at the top level. Every time he was asked to do that at championship level he succeeded. I think we need to bring in a young CB for back up in case Hill or Dunne get injured. But IMO Hill is definitely a starter (for now anyway)
