anyone know if school end lower will be ours this season??
depends on whether teams take the allocation or not, nothing to do with us i don't think... man united, arsenal etc will almost certainly have the whole end
well its my understanding the upper tier only meets away ticket allocation!
If thats the case we should stick to that..part of the problem with the atmosphere last time round was it felt like the away fans had a 1/4 of the ground.
Current rule state that any ground that has less than 30k capacity has to provide away fans with at least 10% of their capacity, which in our case is 1,800 or thereabouts which is about the whole of the top tier. Any more than that is up to the club. Along with others I hope that the club only give other clubs the top tier.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.
Were Sheffield Wednesday on opening day the only team that took top and bottom tier this season? I can't remember anyone else doing it!
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.
