They have sacked Seedorf. Wonder where that leaves Adel now? I know the coaches in Italy hardly have a say in who comes and goes regarding players, but it would be interesting to see if Inzaghi rates Adel as Seedorf did.

On a side note, watching Seedorf last night during the soccer aid game he can still do a job! worth a 2 year contract

Sure Joey gave a interview saying the dressing room unrest wasn't caused by Adel and that he is a lovely lad. Remember Adel giving a interview about Joey as well calling him his mate.

We will see what happens anyway.

I think it's what makes him Adel and the player he is. I bet that over inflated view of himself is what makes him perform so well in the field and his tantrums are all part of his psyche that can't be simply outgrown.

Whoever he plays for has to accept that he's a maverick who will have good and bad moments.

It wasn't Seedorf who brought him in, it was their president who has followed Adel ever since the championship season. He's wanted him ever since. Saw a report a few days ago that Milan won't pay what we want for him.

They've both said many times on LCI and the Open all Rs podcast he is a great lad but he can be frustrating at times because he can't seem to realise his potential . Hill said this in a sky interview a few months ago and Faurlin was on the podcast a few weeks ago speaking very highly of him.

Derry used to run down Adel at every opportunity on Talksport (perhaps trying reverse psychology) and as said on another thread after Wembley there was an interview that suggested some of the should we say more established players stirred and caused the problems last time in the prem

Ok not having a dig at anyone on this thread, and i don't know the truth, but for me Derry made Adel's season for him, and so if he did get p*ssed off with him ...i don't blame him.
Worked his nuts off for the team and to allow AT to look good.

Same Dave Derry was exactly what this club needed at that moment in time blood, guts, passion and never say die attitude and I like you would always defend him. Just think when you piece everything together there was more going on behind the scenes then we know of
